How do I add my resume to the SWE Career Center?
For those attending WE25, you may upload your resume and flag that you are attending WE25 so that exhibitors (all of whom have access to our Career Center) can find your resume and set up in-person interviews. Download the steps to upload your resume and tag WE25.
All attendees are strongly encouraged to upload their resume to the SWE Career Center and flag it as “attending WE25.” All exhibitors will have access to this resume pool and will actively reach out to individuals with whom they wish to speak or interview.
What will security look like at WE25?
At WE25, SWE will ban firearms or weapons of any kind from entering the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center for the duration of the event.
Please be advised that entry will be permitted only through designated entrances.
All those entering the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center will be subject to random security and bag checks, and security canines will be present. SWE reserves the right to refuse entry to those who do not cooperate with these safety protocols. As it has done in the past, SWE will provide a mix of armed and unarmed security professionals to help monitor doors and checkpoints.
What are the discounts for university faculty and staff and/or section faculty advisors and counselors?
For every four students who register from a university/college, SWE will provide one free registration for a university faculty or staff person to attend WE25. If a university faculty or staff person registers prior to confirming the attendance of the required number of students, SWE will refund their registration cost with no fee.

Where is WE25 located?
WE25 will be held Oct. 23-25, 2025, in person at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, located at 900 Convention Center Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70130.
Does SWE accommodate dietary restrictions?
We are unable to accommodate special meals at our sit-down collegiate luncheons; however, we will have options available that are gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan (dairy-free) at these events. SWE does collect dietary restriction information for special event meals. No beef, pork, or seafood will be served.
Is membership included with my registration?
Membership is not included with your registration but can be added as an optional item during checkout. Please see our registration page for more information.
What information is available for accepted speakers?
Accepted speakers who confirm participation in a WE25 session will receive various WE25 speaker resources, including the WE Speaker Toolkit and a WE25 PPT template.
How can I access the WE25 app?
The WE25 app will be available in August 2025.
Is there housing available specifically for collegiate section presidents for WE25?
Due to low usage, SWE is not offering collegiate section president housing for WE25.
How do I book a hotel for WE25?
All those attending are responsible for their own hotel accommodations and reservations. SWE is not responsible for booking or managing hotel reservations for WE25 attendees, speakers, exhibitors, or guests. Requests for hotel rooms directly to SWE will be denied.
SWE strongly recommends using the Cvent/Passkey hotel block booking site to reserve your room(s) as early as possible to avoid higher fees or shortage of room nights. By late summer, hotel options are typically limited for our events, and attendees should plan accordingly.
SWE will not prepay for hotel accommodations for those who do not meet the criteria set by individual hotels (with regard to age of guest or preferred credit card accepted).
How do I register if I am from Nigeria?
SWE’s credit card processor for WE25 registration does not accept most credit cards from Nigeria. This is out of SWE’s control and is in the hands of the credit card processor.
To register for WE25, a Nigerian resident may acquire a domiciliary card linked to an account that holds USD on their own accord. Then, simply email membership@swe.org to request an invoice for registration, pay SWE directly, and receive a code to register for WE25. Attendees must pay in full by Oct. 15 to receive a code to register in advance.
What discounts are available for attendees from middle- and low-income countries?
SWE recognizes economic variances around the world and will offer a limited number of registrations at a flat rate of 100 USD for professionals or 25 USD for collegians who are SWE members living in one of these select countries. The discount will be applied automatically at checkout. Students from middle- and low-income countries who are currently studying in the United States are not eligible for this offer.
How do I get an invitation letter to the conference to support my travel visa application?
A personalized invitation letter will be generated automatically once your online WE25 registration has been processed. Please complete your WE25 registration to access your letter. All other questions related to visa matters should be directed to consular or immigration services.
If your visa application is denied, please notify SWE@xpressreg.net by Oct. 20, and we will refund your registration.
What can I expect in the lactation room?
SWE is pleased to provide safe, clean, and private spaces at WE25 for mothers or parents to express breast milk or feed their infant. SWE will provide comfortable chairs next to electrical outlets, bottled water, and snacks. Mini-fridges will also be provided. Parents should plan to bring their own pumps and accessories.
Will there be scooter rentals available?
Scooter rentals at WE25 will be the responsibility of the attendee.
If you require a scooter for use during the conference, we kindly ask that you reserve it in advance through the following link. This ensures availability and proper coordination.
